How it all started.....
It all started in a single garage in South New Brighton Christchurch where Steve decided to put some of the skills his father (a builder) had taught him over the years. Working full time during the day and then working long into the night building sheds, Steve knew he was passionate about working with wood. He spent years evaluating and modifying what he was building to make it easier for customers to transport and install themselves as well as making a product that was going to last the distance. As time passed and customers kept coming back for his work he decided to keep building and creating new designs with the goal of making it a full time business. Our product has stood up the test of time for over 10 years and so often we have clients coming back to us for repeat business wanting another shed.
10 Years on from that first shed, he has a purpose built premises on a block of land out in Oxford, North Canterbury where all his kitset are made and The Wooden Shed Co. was born. A Little Bit About Our Sheds:
The Wooden Shed Company kitsets are a pre panel system, which means all the walls are constructed and cladded. Simply stand the walls up and add fixings and roofing. We have a range of designs, Mono Pitch, Gable roof. A range of timbers NZ Pine, NZ Oregon and NZ Macrocarpa. Our sheds come complete with all fixings to put it up, coloursteel roofing and there are many additional options. We have made these the easiest to assemble using our system for even non DIY.
The benefits of our sheds are that we can freight them NZ wide, specifically in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch; They can be transported on a trailer, easy to put up, can be disassembled and put up somewhere different.
